New Year. 2019 is the year we've all been waiting for (well at least I have )
Lets start off the New Year by first talking about how our New Year went. Me I invited my three bestfriends (trust me you'll get to know them very well) over the night before. As friends we tend to have cliques within our own circle of friends. Wow shocking! Some friends tend to feel left out the loop with certain things going on within our personal lives even with having a groupchat. This was our chance to have a clean slate..The morning of New Year's Eve we hand a "Blue Table Talk"
*a rip off of Red Table Talk since I have a blue table instead of red lol*
We went around the table stating our feelings toward one another as far as things that bothered us the past year. This talk was meant to help us grow as friends and better women. I can tell you now there was plenty of tears but the laughs outweighed them. Shout out for us being able to communicate as adults with problems/ things that make us feel uncomfortable. Since then I could tell this was going to be our year as far as being the strongest set of friends we've ever been for each other.
Now time for the fun stuff.! Of course we went to a party it wouldn't be a New Year without coming in with a Champagne toast!
You'll learn to know that I LOVE to sparkle more than often lately lbvs. We arrived to the party downtown Chicago around 11. We had a hour until the countdown. After our scary encounter with our SpotHero parking we were in a bit of a rush. We made the most of our night, being surrounded by great vibes, beautiful people and liquor we were destined for a great night.... until a guy who didn't understand the meaning of "she's taken". I'm pretty sure all my female readers know we play the gay role quick at the club when a guy you aren't into won't stop hitting on you.
